Francisco J. Sayago obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Sevilla (Spain) in 2006 in the field of carbohydrate synthesis. He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Zaragoza in the laboratories of Prof. C. Cativiela. He is currently an Associate Professor at this University and his research is oriented towards the synthesis of bicyclic proline analogues and aminophosphonic acids.
